Jason Vogt
We would like to introduce our new Tattoo Artist, Jason Vogt. He has been in the business for 8 years. Through tattooing, Jason has begun painting in oils, acrylics, and digitally in 2006. Tattooing and painting inevitably coincides into one language that Jason utilizes in all of his art and consequently creates the style in which he works.
Kelly
Kelly began working in downtown Waukesha in the late 1990's and has been a state licensed Body Piercer since 2000. She has attended the Association of Professional Piercers educational conferences for numerous years and completed several piercing related courses, including human anatomy and certification on blood-borne pathogens. Kelly's piercing practice relocated to Waukesha Tattoo Company the summer of 2011.

Michael Foster’s show “Something to Relate To.” will be on display from December 3, 2011 to February 25, 2012. Michael is currently a Art Instructor at Waukesha South and a Carroll College Alumni. Destruction of Innocence
Valerie J. Christell
Valerie J. Christell is a Milwaukee area artist who creates social statement photomontages. Her black and white images in this exhibit, Destruction of Innocence, employ metaphorical and narrative imagery to create social statements reflecting the impact of those in power on individuals throughout the world who have no voice and the angst symptomatic of the devastation of humanity by its own kind.
Twisted figures, in varying degrees of disintegration that reflects their lives, merge with nature’s environments. They, and their awareness of the truth, are found tossed away like garbage, hidden beneath the murky waters of lies—ultimately sacrificed for the benefit of the powerful.
Christell continues to exhibit nationally in juried and group exhibitions and create site-specific and collaborative installations with similarly directed visual artists and musicians. She also teaches studio art and art history courses at Alverno College, works as a Feature Arts Writer for Third Coast Digest, and has been chosen to be a 2011-12 Mentor for the Milwaukee Artist Resource Network.

Thomas Hoffman's "Recent Paintings"
Recent Paintings
Galleria Edge has been displaying the work of local artist Thomas Hoffman since February and we are very happy to extend the show for another week until 4.2.11.
Tom Hoffman's artistic background includes studying painting at the Wustum Museum of Fine Arts in Racine, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, a Master of Fine Arts in Theater from the California Institute of the Arts, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
